Intermediate discharge tubes

Thanks Mike.
It was my intention to make up a drilling jig once I had established the ideal location etc. for the tubes.
If I wasn't in Australia I would have returned them to BLP and have them do the job for me.

Thanks for your time. Rob

Mike...Thanks again for taking the time to reply.
is 5/16 to 3/8 up from the bottom of the body a good spot to aim for?

Thanks again, I really appreciate you taking the time to help me. Rob.

Usually the tube are put in perpendicular to the bore, no angle. Position up or down can be adjusted, as long as it doesn't infringe on the idle passage. you can move it outside a little with a slot to feed it, King Demons actually have a slot around the outside of the horizontal idle circuit passage to put it below and inside the vertical passages for idle and transition.

Mark...Thank you for the reply.
Is it only BG that used that method of placing the tubes as most of the other examples I have managed to find start the tube in line with the discharge nozzle in the metering block and I assumed angle downwards to a location that would seem is the key to whether the intermediate circuit is of some tuning benefit or not.
I understand your position on this topic but would still like to hear any of your theories and ideas on the placement of the tubes.
Again, thanks for taking the time to reply. Rob

Horizontal in the bore is ideal, tube cut at an angle on the end. Position in the bore depends on where you want the fuel in relation to throttle position. And the intermediate will provide fuel at WOT, just less than when the blade is at the tube position. Also wherever you end up putting the hole at drill toward the center of the bore, so it may be at an angle from the face of the body.
