The gizmo is an adjustable pcv valve.

The wire goes to the temp sensor for the electric fan.

So here is my metering block. There is no bleed in the very top of the angle channel but there is one slightly lower. I would assume I need to block it. There are no kill bleeds either.

Are there "emulsion" tubes present? (flat top brass over main wells (inner) indicates tubes... cup plugs indicates no tubes)...
Eether either, yes, those should be blocked...

No tubes, it has cup plugs on the top.

When you guys block those upper bleeds, do you drill a kill bleed in the angle channel? I just did a 1850-3, and blocked the bleeds with marine JB weld as described above. Decided to add some 0.021" kill bleeds in the more conventional angle channel location like a 3310 straight leg booster carb (though mine are smaller than the ~0.027" in those carbs). Haven't tested yet, so not sure if that was a good idea or not? LOL
