Metering Blocks

I just bought a new pair of metering blocks to modify for my dual 660 build.
I got these: https://www.holley.com/products/fuel_sy ... s/134-128S
They have the idle feed restrictions on the top, which I plan to move to the bottom locations as shown in the sticky on the tapatalk page but they seem different than the old metering blocks that are shown in that sticky.
They also have small holes drilled at the top of the dogleg of the main well channel.
Are these worth reworking or should I look for older castings?
