Hi, due to excellent tech support at the hosting provider the version incompatibility issue affecting this sire is fixed. Members shouldn't be seeing the PHPBB errors any longer.

well, the site un-fixed itself. now it appears to have re-fixed itself as people are able to post again. I had a support ticket in with the hosting service, they were supposed to call me, but never heard from them. Guess they went ahead and fixed it anyway.

today got a nice email from a senior support engineer at the hosting provider detailing what he did to fix the site. essentially it was a line in a core PHPbb file. Nobody seems to know why it got goofed up and had to be manually fixed twice. Now I'm sort of dreading the next next PHPbb "upgrade."
