Good info guys Tks so if you want to lean the cruise would you go done on the IFR or go smaller on the T slot restrictor will either do the same thing ?

Why would you need the t-slot restrictor at all if you had the right size IFR?

Not debating t-slot restrictor need just asking which one would you change first to lean cruise

I would see how it does with no TSR and an IFR in the plausible range, like somewhere between .028 - .034.

The T-slot restrictor performs a different function than the IFR. IFR regulates fuel only. TSR regulates fuel that has mixed with air.

You keep asking what I would do and I keep telling you: Try tuning it with the IFR alone, with no TSR. If the IFR isn't too big you will probably not need a TSR. If the TSR is still in there, you will not get real feedback on what the IFR changes are doing or not doing, because there is still an unnecessary jet inline between the IFR and t-slot.

If you have a TSR that gives reasonable part throttle fuel, then the IFR can be stupid huge and it won't affect much except the mixture screw (will have to be closed more than it would if the IFR were right), because the TSR is covering up the real issue (IFR too big).

My question is pretty clear “ what has the most effect on leaning out the cruise IFR or t- slot restriction size
Just want a simple answer one or the other

Not asking for advice on how to lean cruise etcetc
