Well I'm proper pissed off now. Got the carb in the mail. When did they change the venturi size? This does NOT have the same 1-7/16 secondary like the previous versions.

So somewhere between 3310-11 and 3310-13 venturi sizes went from 1.375/1.437 to 1.375/1.375. Fantastic. Guess I will be building the trashed 3310-2 I've had forever instead. All it needs is all the gasket surfaces remachined and then recolored. Great. Super looking forward to that.

Oh, or, I guess another possibility is that the venturi size got changed before -11, but the Holley slack-asses never put the right data in the .pdf. And then gave up on updating tech info altogether, because who cares about anything that doesn't Enhance Shareholder Value.

The trashed -2 is a bare mainbody only, no boosters even. And the choke tower is cut off. Though it is machined for the Allstate threaded boosters.

Plans for this new-to-me carb was... all the things. Converted to DP, annular, electric choke, aluminum blocks & bowls...

Think this is the primary block I'll use - originally from a 4777-7. Some many years ago I pulled the tubes out and then sometime between then and now, the tubes teleported themselves into a parallel universe. Gone. So, Delrin plugs to replace them and use a conventional emulsion setup. Plugs are .251" on the lower OD, .284" on the upper. They're a pretty good press fit but there's also a #10-32 hole in the top and when a brass setscrew gets installed they swell up (threaded holes in Delrin are a pretty good amount undersize what they'd be in metal) and lock in place, ain't no way they're coming out. But remove the setscrew, put in a bolt & nut and some sort of spacer and they come right out.

Will the Delrin plug be blocking the air bleed/kill bleed ?
