This intake was never intended for street use in the rpm range you are using. Makes for great show though. I understand your willingness to tune it best you can though. Since the intake is a compromise the final tune is going to be a compromise.
I do commend you for your efforts.

Below was an old Tuner trick, so I cannot take the credit for it. Used on dual 4bbl Holley set up.
He adjusted the sec t/blades to be closed as much as possible, just to the point of the blades not binding in the closed position.
This forced more of the idle/transition air to be drawn through the pri bores. He was able then to get a clean transition within the desired A/F range.

Yes, it might. But it is easy to try...& easily reversed if there is a problem.

To extend the transition drop the idle feeds down .001, drop the idle air bleeds .005. Keeps the same fuel roughly, but should extend the transition a little if there is a lean spot before the boosters start.
