As per title how would .500” I/D annular boosters go in 4150 carbs, specifically 1.56” venturi?

From what I have investigated they have less signal to main well than .600” I/D but would this be of detriment in a street strip deal?

What/who's booster? Do you mean less signal than .600" I/D annular booster ?

In general terms Yes. But could have a better signal than a down leg booster. As some guys on here like Mike/Mark may have stated before there is more to a booster in terms of signal than just size. Form/contour/shape number of holes. Proper atomization of fuel in a 1.56" venturi street carb , with no intake heat, is a concern.

.500 annulars will flow less and signal less than the .600's, but better signal than a downleg. I only used a .500 when the fuel channel was too small with the .600's, usually a boosted app and usually alcohols. I now have some .610's that will handle about 700HP worth of methanol, above that I have a .545 that will cover it. And there are some things you can do to improve that, cutting a channel inside the banjo will add more capability. A stock 4150 annular banjo has little room or strength to cut much, some of the newer billet components will add more.

Fuel curve will depend on emulsion setup and main air bleed size. distribution will be better, if it needs it they may help.
