850 baseplate

Any advantage to install a 850 ( 1 3/4" ) baseplate on a 780 3310 holley ?

It must help some, my 850 FST vs carb which is a 750 main body and an 850 base plate sure worked good over my Mighty Demon. Car really picked up over the well tuned Demon.

Thinking out loud here but if your engine wants and responds to it, it might give more air/fuel mass per degree of throttle input for increased part throttle acceleration performance.
