$6 Melonized distributor gear

This is a hardened gear (click the part number at the upper right, all those applications were steel roller cams). Comes as .431" shaft size, buuuut.... if you have a lathe and know how to use it, it's easily bored to .491" or .500".

Are you showing that because it is $8 compared to $55, but will need driling? You think it is steel roller cam application ,not cast iron?

Correct? The .491" gear is more like $70-$100 depending on source.

Boring, not drilling. I wouldn't trust it to come out on center or on size if drilled.
