I see that Edelbrock is selling the 1906 carb for not much more than the 1406. The 1906 is listed at 650 CFM versus 600 for the 1406. What are the other differences and experience with the 1906. I have only had on 1906 here and it worked good out of the box, but did not get to study it any.

The 19XX series are AVS, Air Valve Secondary. Like a QJ/TQ, has adj AV. Better option than the 14XX carbs which are AFB & have no easy way to adjust sec rate, although they usually work very well. The latest AVS has annular pri boosters, mate has used them, & reckons superb performance.
