3310-13 primary block calibration

3310-13 primary block calibration

Anybody happen to know the stock IFR/PVCR for this? I have a partial carb here missing bowls & front block, would like to run it stock before making changes.

Do you mean 3310-1?

Nope. They're up to like -16 or -17 currently.

By the way, anybody else notice the carb numerical listing .pdf hasn't been updated since July 2015? Private equity buyouts are awesome, huh.

3310-2 and 3310-3 were fairly consistent using a 5271 front metering block.
Here are the specs for those. I would use this.
IFR .034"
PVCR .062"
Anti syphon .028
Emulsion .028
Emulsion .028
Holes under mixture screws .062

Rear metering plate was #21
IFR .039
Jet .078-.080

Yes, the old-style calibrations usually worked better. I'd still like to know what this carb came with, to use as a baseline.

The numerical listing stops at 3310-11, and the models after 3310-9 have the primary block listed as 'N/A'. 3310-2 through -9 used the same #72 PMJ & 134-131 primary block. Everything after that is a mystery.

Sorry for being pedantic (it's apparently my specialty), but if 3310-9 and up used the same 134-131 primary block as the earlier models why does it say 'N/A' and not '134-131'?

I doubt that metering block will have the original orifice sizes . I believe they are just generic.

Found Ebay pictures with an ancient -2 with primary block (stamped) 10569, and an aluminum-body -14 with primary block (engraved) 10569. You really telling me the current crop of goobers at Holley haven't altered (sure they'd call it 'improved') the 3310 metering block calibration in, what, 50 years?
