Holley 950 HP fat off idle

950 Hp Annular booster carb goes from idle at 13.5 to 10.0 leaving from a traffic light with very little throttle opening, it then returns back to a normal reading. I went all the way down to a 25 squirter, no change. Primary transfer slot is square and idle speed is set by the rear.

What am I missing here? I tried as high as a 40 squirter down to a 25 and nothing changes.green pump cam on #1 with a 30cc primary pump

Maybe you could try a larger idle air bleed. Or try closing the secondary blades at idle. How long does it take to recover?

I just went for a ride, reduced the primary idle by 1/4 turn, increased rear by the same, idle was too high, reduced the primary another quarter. It idles fine, still fat on initial stop light take off.

Idle vacuum in gear is 10, then goes fat. I will try a 6.5 pv next, I have an 8.5 in the front only, plug rear.

Idle air bleeds are already .078, ims at 1.5 out
