AFR Cruise Tuning Question

General Question on these 2 choices so I can understand better

Where to START when working on getting good cruise AFR

Go down in size of IFR jet

OR

RESTRICT the T slot ?

Or do either work equally

Starting from scratch I’d remove the TSR and tune idle/cruise/WOT using float level, IFR, IAB, MAB, MJ and PVCR. If an AFR window around transition taper off - mab start up persists then try TSR.
