3310 signal tube possible fail

Tried to follow Tuner's advice to add the signal tube to a 3310-3. It went pretty well but I managed to install the tube about 10-15 degrees [best guess] off center. In other words the top of the slash cut is slightly canted.
My question; Is this a fatal screw up? Should I do it again or do you think it'll be "close enough" to work?

Thanks

I have installed these a few times . 10-15 degrees does not sound like much . Hard to say ,maybe a picture would help, but I would think you are good.
What else are you doing to the carb?

tried to post a picture but says it's too big
Don't plan on much modification, just add a secondary metering block. Going on a mild Ford 351. Wanted to try installing the signal tube as an experiment/learning experience
