Best method for installing annular inserts into banjo?

As per topic, what is the best method to install annular inserts into banjo?

Press fit?
Freeze insert?
warm banjo?

You would think freeze insert and warm ( heat ) banjo, maybe in hot water would be best . That method has been used on bearings for years.

Hot/cold method didn’t work. Being aluminum the temperatures equalized quickly. Pressed them in with a spacer in a small vice. Takes more effort with the last step to be pressed in then it snaps into place. I did notice after the point of no return with the first two there is a small dimple on the outer edge of the exposed top. I assumed this lined up with the booster leg centerline so that’s what I did for the last two.

Installation end (leg) threaded easy enough with 5/16-32 die.
