Who sells gas jets that are marked accurately? Is BLP as good as any for the price?
Thanks for any help

I always thought Holley jets were rated by flow? is this not so?

could you build/create some device to to use a regular leakdown tester to check them?

You mean use leak down to measure each airflow through the jet? I guess I could rig up something but doesn't pinning the jets determine the same thing? If I had a way to mark jets I could just sort and remark them. I'm willing to start buying new but if I can be sure that Maxjet, BLP or whoever are deadly accurate. I built an E85 carb years ago and the jets Mark sent me are dead on to what they are marked. I don't know if they're BLP's but they're nice.

Many many years ago a former Holley rep told me that they just go with the low bidder on most carb parts and to beware.

You have #88, #89 and #90 jets. According to the chart they are all to be .104”. You pin them and find they are all accurate. You trial all three sizes and indeed return different AFR or egt or timeslip, whatever your measurement. I think you have to have faith in the stamp that it will flow the 4% more or less than the numbers adjacent an focus on the results. It would be frustrating to change jet size to have no change or not what is expected but as in the example above sizing the hole doesn’t tell the whole story. When you are searching for an outcome ultimately the orifice to stamp accuracy should play second fiddle to results.

The BLP jets are far better. By a long way.

Unless it's a simple 4150 rebuild all my stuff gets BLP jets.
