Holley 9834-1 600 cfm dated 0590
So I haven't seen this before . There are no air bleeds in the main well. Can anyone explain this? The top metering block #10959 is off this 9834-1 carb and the bottom one in picture is off a holley 1850

IFR under brass plug ( have not pulled this yet )
Main jet #661
PVCR .054"
Air bleed none
Anti syphon .028"
Bleed in top of dog leg .039"
Emulsion tubes under brass plugs

Secondary metering plate #39
Jet .072"
Air bleed .029"

That's the way 9834's are. The booster-correction ("emulsion") bleeds are in the main well tubes, and connect and work with that up-high dog leg bleed.

Thanks for explaining that. The holley 1850 also has emulsion tubes, so I take it they are conformed differently.
