Blower and methanol air fuel ratio?

Postby JHaleyH374 » Wed May 05, 2021 4:11 pm

I'm about to pull the trigger and stick a mini blower on my 6.0 LS engine with a twin blade methanol carb. It appears that most people (including me) run around 5.0-5.5 air fuel ratio naturally aspirated, but where do I need to be with the blower? It's a little 144 blower and I'm going to only be making around 6-8lbs of boost max.

have you run methonal before? usually guys run them quite rich as it doesn't hurt power much and protects against the notoriously quick piston meltdowns. if it leans out under power up around the torque and HP peaks it'll fry the pistons so quick it's hard to believe.
