Has anyone here tried the FST 4150 clones?
Are they really any better than anything else?

The parts are OK, but not always assembled well. And jetting I would throw in the trash and use Holley or BLP jets.

I am no carb pro, just trying to learn them, but I bought several new carbs. to play with them, (all holley style) and the fst, (650, vacuum secondary) from summit was so bad out of the box I did not even mess with it. I put it back in the box and returned it back to summit, (within 2 hour's) and got a brawler 650 instead. Just for some more info. I did remove the front fuel bowl and it had a four emulsion hole metering block with the ifr's up high. The rear was a plate with changeable jets.

I had a 750 on the dyno today. It was too lean on the primary side. Guage was pegged at 16 to 1 until the secondaries were opened then it settled in at high 12's to l3 to 1. The parts appear to be well made, nice fit ond finish. i think 72 primary with 3.5 power valve . Secondary i think was 82 power valve blocked. 4 stage emulsion both sides. Idle restrictions high both sides. All the e-holes and IFR are threaded for adjustable jets but first you will need to drill the orifice at the bottom of the threads then supply a threaded orifice in its place. Hopefully re- jetting primary and secondary sides will get it working.

I believe they are from the former owners of Quick Fuel.

I only know one guy who owns one....late model oval track car. Driver likes it....

Parts are Chinese made...
