Road race carb recommendation

Looking for a recommendation for a 4150 style carb for my road racing IROC Z Camaro.

305ci (.030 over)
Pump gas (unsure of CR)
Unknown cam specs, but roughly measured at .476" lift I/E, ~260* @.050". Approx 8" vacuum at idle.
"416" cast iron heads
Edelbrock Performer RPM dual plane intake with 1" open spacer
Car weighs 3300lbs with me in it.
MSD ignition with 34* total
6500 max engine rpm

Looking for a carb that doesn't break the budget, but will perform good. I have been thinking about the Holley Street HP 650cfm.

This is strictly a road racing car running slicks.

Thanks
Dave

Is that the only intake you can use? Nothing taller like an RPM AirGap or Tall single plane?

That is the intake on the car. I don't want to spend lots of money on a carb and new intake now as I plan on going EFI in a few years. Just looking for a good budget friendly carb that will perform well.

Thanks
Dave

I would do a 650 double pumper. Not sure about the street HP though. Seems like a lot of
Folks who buy the new carbs with every parameter is adjustable often find the settings are not ideal out of the box. Search for posts about Folks who have tuned the street HP carbs.
I ran a later 70s 650 DP on a 289 for Years And it was great.

That would be a good choice, the 82651SA. A Quick Fuel Q650 would as well, once you changed the emulsion, added transfer slot restrictor jets primary and secondary, relocated the IFR, air bleed and jet changes.
