Referring to Hysteric's post at the bottom of p.2. The last paragraph. Where the larger MJ requires a larger MAB, & this makes off idle richer because the MJ has been increased in size.

Unless I am mistaken, the size of the MAB controls when the main system starts. The MJ size controls the volume of fuel supplied. A larger MAB bleeds off more of the suction applied to the MJ, hence the main system starts higher in the rpm range. So it is hard to see how this could make the idle richer if the m/system is starting later.

No different than the OP's thread on sizing a carb to an application, there is no formula or chart for emulsion.

You leverage others's experience and guidance to get a baseline, and test things on your own from there if you think there's a possibility of improvement.

I'm hoping to try out a few things later this year, including emulsion stack changes, so I have more first-hand experience on these kinds of things.
