Yes, the eBay one is my carb, I thought you were talking about another one that is on eBay that needs to be rebuilt.

Any 5253 secondary metering block that I have seen is drilled like this

This was interesting.
I have always wondered why the idle fuel should be pulled through the main jets.
If the idle jets were directly in the floatbowl, they can not affect each other.
Have thought about trying many times but never got it done, anyone who has any experience with it?

Keep in mind the L88 cam was a bit much and didn't have much of a vacuum signal, maybe holes in the secondary were a compensation for the idle circuit?

My understanding is that those dribble holes were used in the secs so that the fuel got used up [ did not go stale ] & was replenished with fresh fuel.
