Just some thoughts. Being these are mini annulars , with a smaller inside diameter than even your original down leg booster, I would not think the signal to be amplified. Therefor the startup of the mains not to change. Signal amplification relies on more air travelling thru the booster. But being it is annular , atomization should still improve. Which is usually what we are looking for with larger venturi carbs and non heated intake manifolds ( no crossover heat ) and air gap intakes because they run cooler. ( heated intake manifolds create more fuel atomization )
But then again there is more to booster design than inside and outside diameter, so what do i know?
