...I found a minty-fresh 3310-2 mainbody, randomly slapped together with a bunch of non-3310 parts, for $15...

Still has really nice color, all the surfaces are straight, and it's not pitted to hell and back from being buried in a field for 20 years, like my other 3310-2.

Now I get to play Mr Potato Head all over again and figure out which parts to use on which carb.

Think this is the primary block I'll use - originally from a 4777-7. Some many years ago I pulled the tubes out and then sometime between then and now, the tubes teleported themselves into a parallel universe. Gone. So, Delrin plugs to replace them and use a conventional emulsion setup. Plugs are .251" on the lower OD, .284" on the upper. They're a pretty good press fit but there's also a #10-32 hole in the top and when a brass setscrew gets installed they swell up (threaded holes in Delrin are a pretty good amount undersize what they'd be in metal) and lock in place, ain't no way they're coming out. But remove the setscrew, put in a bolt & nut and some sort of spacer and they come right out.

The trashed -2 is a bare mainbody only, no boosters even. And the choke tower is cut off. Though it is machined for the Allstate threaded boosters.

Plans for this new-to-me carb was... all the things. Converted to DP, annular, electric choke, aluminum blocks & bowls...
